Overall happy with the black hood. Excited to see that it also came with a black bar to put on the front, even though we only ordered the copper. Fan is pretty loud. Had to buy the extension for our tall ceilings and you can tell the difference between the extension and hood part. The finishes of the extension and the hood are a little different.. Beth. This looks great in our kitchen. It's a LOT louder than anticipated and seems to work ok. Scent still leaves the kitchen even though when outside it's evident that it's working. Keep in mind the controls are inside at the back right so may be harder to reach for shorter people (I'm 5'3) - I would have had it lowered a couple more inches but it was done as part of the home build..
