This looks great in our kitchen. It's a LOT louder than anticipated and seems to work ok. Scent still leaves the kitchen even though when outside it's evident that it's working. Keep in mind the controls are inside at the back right so may be harder to reach for shorter people (I'm 5'3) - I would have had it lowered a couple more inches but it was done as part of the home build.. The hood looks nice and works great and I love that the controls are located on both sides of the hood. When the hood first arrived I pulled everything out to check for dents and didn’t see any but once we went to install it a long time after there was a dent that can really only be noticed at the right angle. After waiting months to have my kitchen back I didn’t want tot have to take it down and wait for a new one so I’m living with a dented hood. Packaging wasn’t the best and there was other small scratches that are hardly noticeable. Otherwise I’d give this 5 stars.. Kaitlin. Eureka, CA. Mon Jul 20 2020

We cook every day, so I did not want a mesh screen like my previous vent hood. I knew I also wanted physical push buttons rather than touch controls. I have a 30 inch gas range and the ZLINE 721-34 vent hood checked every box for me at a price that was hard to beat. Look at my photo, the lights are adjustable, I must have missed that in my research but that is AWESOME! It pulls smoke and grease very well. When I'm searing I run it on high, but otherwise I keep it on low or medium. Running it on high while I sear beats having the house smell like dinner and grease traveling everywhere. Very happy with my choice. It was a much needed upgrade.. Sizzle Wizard. Mon Sep 28 2026
