This WORKstation sink from Ruvati’s Roma series was designed with RV and Tiny Home customers in mind, but can be a perfect fit for any kitchen where you want to maximize utility within a small space. The sink comes with built-in accessories (colander and cutting board) that fit nicely on top of the sink, so you can do your prep work right on top of the sink. The solid cutting board is constructed of sapele wood (African Mahogany) – a luxurious hardwood that has a beautiful finish and handles water well. It covers the entire sink bowl, thus converting your sink into a countertop when you need. Also included is a a 5-inch deep stainless steel colander that you can use as a strainer or a drying caddy. The sink features a thick solid 8 gauge (5mm thick) rim all around that sits topmount on your countertop. The rest of the sink is constructed of 16 gauge stainless steel, one of the thickest steel available for residential kitchens.

Based on measurements of my counter space and granite setting, I couldn’t get an apron front or an undermount. This was a great alternative. I love the workstation and accessories offerings but I bought the Ruvati Accessories Multi-function Workstation Organizer and Caddy with Soap Dispenser and Knife Block because I thought it would work great. The caddy is very rigidly straight and the sink slopes in very slightly as you get deeper. Sad to say the caddy did not fit. This sink is just the right size! A sink is not too big and not too small for all the styles of a farmhouse sink in a smaller space. Because the fireclay dimension can vary it is best to allow for minimum cabinet space. The classic apron boasts a full height to make an impression. The sink comes with an included bottom grid and basket strainer drain. Elegant lines taper slightly from the top to the bottom of the basin. There are many benefits to fireclay. Its glazed surface inhibits bacterial growth more than stainless steel. Due to the firing process, dimensions are nominal and may vary to actual up to 0.25". A custom cabinet is required to support the weight of this sink. A note about fireclay: small cracks will appear on the unglazed underside of the sink, these are cosmetic only and have no impact on the performance of the sink.

Beautiful sink for our retrofit. I do not use the racks because they make it too cumbersome to clean. I get the theory behind the rack it keeps it from getting scratched. However, if you can’t see it anyway what’s the difference The side rack is nice and I used it for the first couple weeks, but they also reduce the amount of sink I had to clean big pans and pots with perfect size perfect depth. Cleans up nice would’ve given it five stars. However, I’m noticing a lot of rust marks and I don’t understand why.  Overall great delivery great service by Wayfare came in a few days.. Garden. This double-walled triple-insulated Ice Chest sink from Ruvati's Merino series is a perfect complement for your outdoor kitchen or BBQ area.
