This is handmade by artisans in small quantities to ensure that each batch maintains its own personal character. Made from clay filled with pieces of crushed glass and pigments, Calypso is then kiln-fired to fuse the glass together and keep a crystalline quality. No two pieces of Calypso will ever be the same.
I installed this vertically and it turned out great. These glass tiles are not easy to work with because they are ceramic around the outside and back and glass in the middle. The glass often breaks up when you cut. But the end results are great.. Joyce. South Pittsburg, TN. Sat Jan 06 2024
