Honestly, I was pretty disappointed. I do not purchase items made in China. The knife block says: MADE IN CHINA, the kitchen shears are stamped: MADE IN CHINA. I also think the honing stick was made in China. The knife block does not have big enough slits for my larger knives. Very frustrating when your ad says that the set is made in Germany. At least the knives were sharp but the information that comes with them says that they need to be sharpened after every second usage. I spent a lot of money for a FOUR knives that I thought were going to hold an edge! I will NOT be purchasing from PERIGOLD in the future. In fact I am right now, going to mark your address as SPAM.
