It's just ok. There are many plastic parts including the water reservoir, which some of the product info describes as glass - but it is definitely plastic. If you are looking to avoid plastic interaction with water and coffee, this is not what you want. The only plus is the stainless shower head and blooming function, but I preferred the Bonavita machines for this type of function.

We have been using for a couple of months and the taste of our coffee is so completely different than our old coffee maker. The flavor of the coffee is fantastic. And the unit itself is so lovely. The fact that it is a side unit means it stores UNDER the cabinet instead of sticking out - like almost all other coffee makers. Highly recommend.
