This is a nice starter set for forged knives. Forging improves a knife's weight as well as giving it better edge retention (will stay sharp longer). It has great weight and balance, and I love the curved three rivet handle; very comfortable. With these three knives, you can chop vegetables, peel and pare, and the serrated utility is designed to cut through anything hard on the outside and soft on the inside, such as a tomato, orange or a roll.

Good combintion of knives which includes an additional ulility knife. Great size and shape for slicing breads, bagels, baguettes and fruits and vegetables which have a tougher exterior and softer interior. Perfect for heirloom tomatoes and eggplant. I also like to use my ulility knife for cake decorating. Trimming and slicing layers. Forgerd Accent- Durable and sharp knives which are made to last!
