The Zwilling Four Star 10" Chef's knife was the very first 'professional' quality knife I ever purchased. That was1978 and it was a revolutionary design at the time, its handle of black polymer a seamless extension of the blade, perfectly balanced and razor sharp out of the box. Some 22 Four Star knives of various shapes, tasks and sizes later I thought it couldn't get better, until now. The koribe wood handle on the 8" Chef's knife is aesthetically perfect and even enhances the functionality of the blade. For example, it warms to the touch immediately, becoming an extension of your hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. When you're dicing 40 carrots or mincing a dozen cloves of garlic that fluidity alters the nature of the task from labor to meditative beauty. Thank you Zwilling engineers and please, please, please keep expending this line it is absolutely BRILLIANT
