Item was received quickly, well packaged, & arrived in perfect condition. Excellent price for an exceptional product, discount code was a bonus & much appreciated as it made this more affordable. Sink bridge is very sturdy & well made as are all of the included stones. I am looking forward to becoming proficient using these whetstones, but because there is a learning curve for a newbie I am going to practice on my older/less expensive knives first. Included instructional DVD is also appreciated but for those who no longer have a DVD slot in their computers there is also a YouTube video by Bob Kramer available on-line. There are less expensive sets available out there but the quality is no where near this one. Comparing the cost to have your knives professionally sharpened vs. purchasing this set, will save you a lot money in the long run & add another skill to your tool belt.

This is a challenging item to review. Certainly, it’s high-quality, and works. It helped me sharpen my knives after a lot of work and also time watching YouTube videos. But unless you’re gifted and maintaining angles and pressure when sharpening knives, it may not provide the Uber Sharp results that are promised. I was able to make my knives, sharper, after much effort, but not to the easy slicing through newspaper sharp as advertised. It’s probably an amazing tool for a nice sharpening, but requires a skilled person for full utilization.

Where at the stones been on my life, now I know why my nice were not good and didn’t last my nights are beautiful now they keep a razor shirt edge
