Just what I needed for my 10’ ceiling

The chimney worked great, though we had a hard time finding it on the web site because it says "extension" and we were looking for the "shortening" kit. However, we contacted Wayfair via email and they directed us to this product which, if you order the small size, it's a shortening kit. We've installed the range hood and it looks and works great in our kitchen. Thank you!

This chimney works perfectly to extend the island range chimney to our 10' ceilings. Enclosed on all sides - no weird seams... looks great from all sides.

This works great. I like how the item came wrapped in a protective layer so that it doesn't scratch in the mail. I was actually able to combine this item with the pieces that came with the normal unit since my ceiling was just a pinch too high, but not a full 12 feet.

We have a lower ceiling and this was the perfect answer.
