This hood insert has been great. I’ve had it for six months. Gives off a nice soft light has different speeds for the fan and is not overly loud. The contractor putting it in the hood, recommended this brand and I would buy it again.

Buttons feel a little flimsy - so have some long term concerns there, hence the 45, but performance is as expected. Also, not TOO noisy, which is great!

Great quality and great price!!! Arrived earlier then expected which is a bonus!! Can’t wait to install in my new kitchen!

We sent the specs for this range hood to our custom cabinet makers, but we still couldn't install it according to the instructions. Luckily my husband very smart and figured out a way to use wire cable to "suspend" it from the ceiling inside the custom cabinet. Works perfectly and so far have only needed to use the low setting to control cooking odors.

This insert range hood fit well with some tweeking into our custom wood cover for the range. after the motor of the previous one that was in the wood cover burned out, we were worried if we would have to do a complete makeover of area. But luckily with a practical handyman by our side, we got this one installed in place with just a few hours of work. The lights are bright, the blower is very efficient . The only con is that the blower at its highest speed is too loud. But the lower 3 settings seem okay. The fan also makes a click sound every time the motor stops. I don’t know if that is unique to our purchase but it is annoying a bit. Overall pretty happy with the purchase and Wayfair’s good packaging of the product. It is an economical alternative to custom range hoods that otherwise turn out to be a big investment.
