The engineers should be applauded! (More on that later...) I’m now a ZLine fan. I ordered a hood from a big box store to match our appliances and 6 months later, they had cancelled delivery twice and offering a replacement that was more expensive, but had inferior metal and features. I cancelled it and decided to give this a try. It was 12 as much and I couldn’t be more pleased. We have an old house and the soffits have duct, plumbing, and electrical work in various spots, so during our kitchen remodel they had to stay. Finding a hood with chimney to fit was going to be a problem if it couldn’t be cut. This one cut like a dream and trim piece hides the cut and lets the range meet the soffit perfectly. It arrived very well packaged. The instructions were simple and clear. The templates were perfect. Additionally there were small features throughout (plates and pipe fittings) that were just so well designed and thought out that this company has earned my trust and admiration. Well done!
