I've had mine for a year now and this is the best hood I've ever owned. The filters are easy and durable. I like to turn on my hood to medium speed 10 mins prior to cooking for good airflow!

We purchased this hood after inspecting the display model and after some research, seeing the great reviews. This hood is not inexpensive, but it is very well made. The lighting is very good (as well as decorative) and it does a great job of removing vapors, fumes and smells. The filters are also easy to remove and clean. That being said, the installation of the exhaust duct into the collar is somewhat difficult and the higher speeds are very noisy. The fact this still uses halogen lighting instead of LED’s is also question. There is definitely room for improvement, but in our case, and for our remodel and purposes, we believe that overall we made a good choice.
