Xo warrants to the original purchaser of every new xo ventilation unit, the cabinet and all parts thereof, to be free from defects in material or workmanship under normal and proper use and maintenance as specified by xo and upon proper installation and start-up in accordance with the instruction packet supplied with each xo unit. Xo’s obligation under this warranty is limited to a period of two (2) years from the date of original purchase.

The insert plate is not silver, it's a light painted grey. Looks very cheap.

It doesn't seem to have strength...when I do serious grilling on the stove it cannot stop the smoke detectors from going off.
