Nice sturdy set. Maintains sharpness.

I purchased the chef and paring knife set along with a knife sharpener as a birthday gift for my brother-in-law. He was thrilled, and said he could not believe how the chef knife cut through his grilled tuna steaks like butter. He said he's planning to get all new knives now. Great product --- I am buying more for Christmas gifts this year!

Purchased as an anniversary gift for my daughter and son in law. Something they will use for the rest of their lives. I’ve had mine for over 30 years.

I didn't know "Gourmet" meant they were lighter-weight Wusthof knives. I returned them and bought a Wusthof "Classic" Chef's Knife, which I love. You should make it clearer to buyers that the knives are lightweight versions of your knives.

Very pleased with my new Wustoff knives. Good quality and very sharp. Good cutlery lasts a lifetime.
