The feel of these knives is not impressive. Very light and a they feel a little cheap. Maybe this is the characteristic of Asian knives. I’m no expert. I wouldn’t buy them again.

First WUSTHOF purchase for our son who’s now living on his own. He was very excited after using ours for many years. He found out how sharp these knives are when he nicked himself while slicing some meat!

Love these knives. They’re super lightweight and super sharp! Will be looking to get more and replace all of my knives.

This is an update to my initial review that I one gave 1 star to. Quick recap I bought this set as the Santoku is my favorite knife and I was just turned on to Wusthof when I was gifted a Gourmet Chef's Knife and fell in love. So the order comes in and there's an issue with the paring knife as the handle is separating into 3 parts so I contacted CS Dept and short story I was practically told I was lying and hung up and so I was happy and also I bought this for the Santoku so I just tossed the paring knife in the trash and called it a loss. Several days later I get an email asking for a review to I did an honest one and explain what happened, to my surprise literally less than 24hrs I get an email from Donna Hollis from customer support apologizing for what transpired and wanted to make it right and immediately mailed out a brand new paring knife and sent all the order info again with 24hrs so needless to say she saved a customer simply by understanding and making things right all while treating each other with respect. So of course I love my Santoku and the new paring knife if great, but Donna handingly of the situation alone changed from review from a 1 to 4! The knifes are amazing already got a collection!

Tbh I’m brand new to the brand of Wüsthof, but was extremely excited to be quote part of the family. I was gifted a 6” Gourmet Chef Knife for my birthday in April. After the first use I knew this was the best knife in the world and immediately wanted more to build a collection so I took my bday $ and bought this set as the Santoku is my favorite knife and bonus I was getting a paring knife for practically nothing. So my order arrives the package comes tattered so I’m like oh no, but my knife were there I tested both the Santoku perfect as expected so next the 3” paring i could immediately tell the handle is loose and sure enough as soon as a little pressure applied the knife splits into 3 parts. I’m upset but professional cause of this ironclad limit lifetime warranty thing…well after 15mins of go around and around were I had to ask for mgt I’m hung up on. So I chuck the knife in the trash. 5 stars for the Santoku 1 star for the 3” paring knife and how I was treated. I just don’t get it, but in good conscience I can’t buy from here when I’m given a defective product (no big deal, it happens) but not handle it correctly! Respectfully, Christopher Knapp
