[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great set in terms of a mix of knives that you'll actually use frequently. The shears are a big winner in this house too. We use the steak knives also for cutting smaller items and when my kids help with cooking. I am just so much happier when I cook with good knives. I don't know how my mother in law cooks with the dull junk she has in her drawer! :) I don't know that they are as top top quality as some single Wusthof's I've puchased in the past, but this is a wonderful set. Would make a great gift.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These knives are of exeptional quality andc craftmanship. You get the following in this set: a knife block. This block is sturdy and solid. The grain of the wood is smooth and light colored, so it will look good in just about any kitchen. 2.5 inch pairing knife is great for doing smaller jobs, like peeling potatoes, cutting smaller fruit, like berries. 3" spear point pairing knife is super sharp and feels nice in my hand. Works excellent for peeling vegetables and fruit as well, but on a larger scale. The 4.5 inch utility knife works well for a variety of different tasks. My favorite way is to cut up onions. There are 4 steak knives that are exceptional and cut steak easily-like it's nothing. The bread knife works great. I like to use it to cut tomatoes--believe it or not. I don't make bread often. I also use it for a variety of other items. The 8" cook's knife works great for chopping up all the vegetables very fine. The 9" steel knife sharpening tool works very well for sharpening all the knives I have. The kitchen shears are very sharp as well and come apart so they clean easily. I have had these items for a few months now and they work extremely well. I don't clean them in the dishwasher and this keeps them sharper. These knives are sure to last a lifetime due to being made of a solid piece of metal. I highly recommend them to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this knife set for a couple of months and still feel surprised by the sharpness when I use them! The knives have a nice weight and feel sturdy. They will last a long time with proper care (no dishwasher!). They always cut through vegetables, breads, and meat without any hesitation - a true upgrade from my previous set of budget knives!! The block that comes with this set is attractive and I don’t mind it sitting out on my counter. There are a few extra spots that I will be acquiring more knives for - they really are that good. I also appreciate that this set comes with a sharpener and scissors. The scissors are fantastic and I’ve taken to cutting up all kinds of meat and veggies with them. Overall I highly recommend this set of knives. I have truly enjoyed using them and remain impressed by their quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This block knife set includes a 13 slot wood block, a sharpening tool, come apart kitchen shears and 9 assorted kitchen knives. I know that some people are not fans of laser cut knives but this set absolutely meets my in home culinary needs. The handles have a strong, tight fit and the blades are sharp and sturdy. I have not had any issues with bending or slipping while cutting and chopping a variety of foods. I think these knives are a great value and I want to purchase two of their other knives to fill the add slots in the block.
