These knives are incredible! The quality and the perform are worth every penny spent. This set in particular has the essential knives for the everyday average person who cooks and it's at an incredible price. It would be hard to find a better deal at any other retailer.

I have these in my own kitchen, LOVE THEM, and gave this set as a gift to my sis and BIL. Their’s are fifty yrs old. Past time for an upgrade! Merry Christmas! Best gift I have ever given them. Purchased on Black Friday sale.

As a user of higher low quality knives, I noticed how much lighter my WÜSTHOF were, which immediately gave me a quality concern. I soon realized my concerns were exaggerated after using my new knives. It did take a couple uses to adjust the to the weight and precision, and a small nick to my thumb, to truly appreciate the quality of my set. Reason of (4) on quality is my mind still thinks heavier should be better. I have a feeling my mind will change soon.
