Wusthof always performs! Great knives to pass down to future generations!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simply put, this steak knife set, is absolutely amazing! To begin with, this Wusthof knife set, looks and feels very elegant (when company comes over they're very impressed and always compliment the knives.) They're not heavy to hold/use, but feel heavy-duty. When it comes to using them for cutting meat, such as steak, chicken, pork chops, etc., it's like cutting butter. They glide right through the meat, using almost no pressure or force and I never feel like I have to "saw" the meat. They cut nice smooth pieces, every time. I've been using the knives at least three to four times a week, for about four months and they're still just as sharp as they were on the first day I used them. When it does come time to sharpen them, it should be fairly easy, as they have nice smooth edges, instead of serrated edges. Another feature I like is they come in their own felt lined, tray-like with spots to hold each knife securely. The tray has held up great the last four months, but I do recommend investing in a wood block for long term use.

But now I find myself reaching for these as my everyday knives. I highly recommend these knives to anyone looking for a very sharp high end knife. These knives hold there edge very well.
