Great cutlery for big steaks!

I used it to cut meat for our dinner extremely sharp and well balanced. Great addition to our Wusthof collection.

I purchased this knife on account of its unique blade. I dont use it much for dicing. But I do for random other items. Its a pretty fun knife to have in my collection! And it's quality is unmatched.

This is a purpose-designed knife that does one thing well; cut meat. It won't replace a chef's knife as a day-in-day-out everyday knife. The blade geometry is designed for slicing, not rocking or mincing. I use this knife when I break down whole pigs. I most often use this knife with a reverse grip--where the blade exits your hand on the pinky side instead of thumb side. Furthermore, it works best with draw cuts where you are drawing the blade towards you in the reverse grip. Using this grip and technique allow you to cut through large to huge pieces of meat for further processing. The deep belly blade and upswept tip excel at this. That being said, I rarely use this knife for regular kitchen tasks. But when cutting large pieces of meat it is usually the first knife I grab.

Great sharp knife. Love it! Wish it came in a smaller size for my small hand.
