Fits nicely in the hand, nice sharp edge, nice weight. I have some of the gourmet WÜSTHOF knives and they feel light and kind of cheap. The gourmet have a nice sharp edge and cut well but I wanted something with a little more weight and this knife is perfect.

Spectacularly sharp and nimble. This knife is a joy to use. This one is a replacement for my original, purchased several years ago. Mind, the original is still quite sharp and fully functional, but has been sharpened so many times, I was down past the hollows.

This knife feels good in your hand and is very sharp. It’s the best knife we own! Love it!

We have been using the Classic Santoku knives for almost 30 years. As long as you sharpen them regularly, as you would with any other knives, we never had any issues with the blades. We had a small issue with a piece of the handle cracking on one of our older knives (approx. 30 years). We sent the knife back to Wusthof who replaced the knife right away. Best warranty policy!
