It’s a good, high quality knife overall, but I have other knives in the under $100 range that are comparable or better. So while it’s a good product, I am not convinced it has the best value proposition. Pros: very sharp; nice weight on the handle - pretty much the opposite of flimsy; great size knife for everyday cooking - does a perfect job of chopping veggies, cutting meats and chicken. Appears to be high quality that will last over time although seeing as I’ve only had it for a few weeks, I can’t comment on longevity yet. Cons: just after a few weeks of very light use, the knife did not pass the tomato test - it was very tough to cut through even cherry tomatoes. Another very minor con: packaging looked very cheap and flimsy unlike the knife itself.

What a great knife. We needed a new chefs knife and this is perfect. I used it for dinner tonight. It cut a turkey breast very easily and madD even slices. It even fits into m6 knife block. I would definitely recommend this product

This is a great knife. It is pretty large, but I think it will be a good size. I have used it to chop and slice vegetables and to slice meat. It comes with a plastic sleeve to cover the blade during storage.

Perfect size chef's knife. It has a razor sharp edge and thin blade. The handle is substantial and a tad bit weighty but the shape makes it easy to maneuver even if you have small hands. Should be good for vegetables as well as trimming the fat off of meat.

This knife is excellent! Its a perfect size for everyday use. It came nice and sharp. It also cleans easily and has a nice comfortable grip. The Viking brand puts out high quality kitchen products and this knife has not disappointed.
