These pans are a mix of a traditional stainless-steel fry pan and a nonstick fry pan, making them ideal for searing, sautéing, and browning while still delivering easy cleanup. Viking Hybrid Plus cookware is coated with an advanced double-layer ceramic nonstick coating that features superior release while being made without PFAS. The innovative design of the cooking surface features a raised diamond tread pattern that sits just above the nonstick coating. The raised stainless-steel pattern protects the nonstick coating from scratching, making this pan ideal for use with metal utensils. You never need to worry about what utensil you or anyone in your house uses – the scratch-resistant nonstick is protected. The 3-ply clad construction delivers professional quality heat transfer. Both made of stainless steel, the exterior steel layer is induction-capable while the interior steel layer is 304 non-reactive surgical grade stainless. Sandwiched between these layers is a layer of aluminum that helps to conduct the heat evenly through both the bottom and walls of the pan. Together, the three layers make this pan more efficient when cooking. The Viking 3-Ply Hybrid plus line is oven safe to 500°F. The fry pan is finished with rolled rims for drip-free pouring. The signature Viking ergonomic handles are riveted in place and fully cast stainless for a lifetime of use. For best results, use a little oil or butter when cooking eggs or other liquid based foods.
