This warranty does not apply to hardware that has been not been installed incorrectly, involved in accidents or natural disasters or extreme weather conditions, subject to misuse or improper case, exposed to outside air, or has been abused or altered in any way. The warranty does not include additional expenses including but not limited to labor costs and damages. The warranty applies only to the product and in no event shall Vesta Fine Hardware be liable for more than the value of the hardware purchased. The warranty does not apply if the product has been exposed to harsh cleaners, chemicals, and waxes. Avoid using highly abrasive scrubbing cloths, metal-bristled brushes, or steel wool. These items will scratch the surface of the brass.
