I placed around a small knob for decorative purposes but also to protect the wood paint around the original knob.

Did not match my backplates finish.

I bought these in copper to go behind new knobs purchased for a flat-pack buffet and a cabinet that my husband and I put together. The backplates along with the knobs really dress up the buffet and cabinet and look special. I didn’t know you could actually buy backplates before looking on Wayfair, and I think these have a more contemporary design compared to a lot of other more traditional designs. Good quality and they were easy to add behind the knobs. I have included photos of the new knobs with and without the backplates.

I very much like these backplate. They’re a very delicate accent that adds to the renovation and preservation of the older home that I have. I chose the antique bronze finish and it works very well with the door knobs that I purchased separately but also from Wayfare. The quality of the product is very good and the price that I paid was extremely reasonable. The product was packaged nicely and none of the back plates arrived damaged.

Classic and looks rich. Used it on our kitchen buffet cabinet.
