Sometimes my kids can’t open these at lunch due to the heat creating a vacuum seal. It would be nice to have a way to keep the contents hot but allow it to be opened easily. There is also a tab underneath the seal, but its hard to figure out how it should be used. Sometimes I flip it out so my kids can use it to pop the lid open, but they frequently say their food isn’t that hot at lunch. The glass seems durable though.

I've food prepped my lunch for well over a decade now, and have used a variety of containers. I'm trying to switch away from plastics and these fit the bill. I've used these for a few months every weekday and there are some major flaws--mainly with the lid 1) The lids are difficult to get seated and sealed correctly. 2) Because of the lid design they don't stack--I had to build a make shift cardboard box thing in my fridge to put these in so I can stack them, 3) If you have warmed food, the lid essentially vacuum seals itself to the glass jar over the space of a few hours--good luck getting this sucker off! Because I eat at work, I pry the lid off with a letter opener. I think all of these cons could be worked out with a new lid. In the mean time I'll keep using them because they are the only thing like it on the market.

Got this to use with my 16 oz S'well eats thinking they’d fit it however, they didn’t fit it. Emailed the customer service got my purchase refunded. These are beautiful glass containers very disappointed I was not able to use them as intended with my S’well eats.

A great glass bowl to use as I prefer glass over plastic. This is lightweight and can hold a decent amount of stuff. It's not exactly sealed though so things will leak if you don't keep it upright.

I liked the original prep bowls that came with the eats bowl. But I decided to order some glass prep bowls for food that stains non glass such as spaghetti sauce. I didn’t want to ruin the original prep bowls. Glad I have both
