Looks great, cooks great. Perfect for casseroles, gratins, and my all time favorite, eggplant parmesan. The cast iron browns beautifully, and looks gorgeous on the table. Keeps food nice and hot, and is so easy to clean. Love that I can prep, and then store either in the refrigerator or freezer. These are heavy duty cast iron, made in French and made to last a lifetime and then some.

This is the perfect gratin pan. The cast iron heats evenly and holds heat very well. The enamel coating means no seasoning and makes it easy to clean. The matte interior allows fats and oils fully underneath the food giving great browning and easy release. It works great in the oven and also to finish under the broiler.

These are good to have on hand for individual servings. I have a stack of them and I serve individual style at dinner sometimes, or good for small amounts of different dips, or sauces at gatherings. Serve hot or cold, the temperature will retain and warm dips will stay warm and cold desserts will stay cold. Great looking and great serving piece.

Cast iron cookware can be easily cleaned with any common washing-up liquid and water once it’s cooled down. Do not use any scouring agents or abrasive sponges to clean your cast iron product. To remove stubborn dirt we recommend that you soak your cookware, e.g. your cocotte, in warm water with a little washing-up liquid or baking soda until all of the residues can be removed. The cast-iron pot or pan should be dried completely.
