Perfect for collecting kitchen scraps before hauling outside to composter. So convenient having it attached to my simple human trash can and recycling bin.

nice, it worked well, though after several years the pins which act as hinges broke, but we can use it without the lid

We used to have a ceramic slop pot just sitting on the kitchen counter. I didn’t want anything sitting on the counter anymore so I purchased this to hang on the side of our kitchen trash can instead and I can’t believe how much better it is and how much better it looks.

Ok

Now this is a great buy!!! Well worth the money!!! I got the white finish to match my kitchen and I cant say enough good about the item. The product is superb quality and the manufacturer was quite generous. They included 30 biodegradable liners that fit perfectly, and also a magnetic bracket that can be used on a Simplehuman floor model trash can...which I will later order. The packaging was excellent. When I opened the box I found the can was enclosed in a dust cover...much like a ladies high end handbag. Immediately it got my attention. I purchased this for my countertop but its good to know I can move it if I change my mind. The removable basket makes ease for cleaning and the stay open lid option is nice. It isnt obviously large and looks great in my kitchen. Ive looked at alot of countertop compost bins but this was beyond my expectations. Glad I spent the extra because it is well worth it! Thank you Wayfair, K
