Great organization, not something I’d normally be commenting on, though important in a home. Streamline efficiency, much cleaner look, cleaner overall, hope they last

I love this trash can. I am actually am using it as a composter. I love the white gloss and functionality. It’s so sleek. There is something cathardic about pressing the bottom and the can opening. I want Simple Human to make a large one just like this. I prefer this sleek design to the big lip with a holder on the back.

Love this trash can. The lower wider can gives you more flexibility on where you can put it. I have it in my family room because I have a dog who is a trash surfer. I have it in a convenient place but it looks like it belongs there because of its low profile.

this is the closest design i've been able to find that allows for containment and easy transport of unsanitary and organic trash. i like to use the bin without a liner, carry it to our public trash system bins, rinse, sanitize, put back. other trash that does not carry decomposition or sanitation issues are put in another simplehuman can i have other concerns with. but regardless this is the best there is for being able to limit single use plastic bags in our trash cans, and i hope designs by simplehuman move towards that goal in the future.

The rating goes to Simplehuman's line of trash cans. This one probably deserves an extra star or even two. It is a fine trash can. As good looking as they get. And works very well. Really. Sadly, this one is the last of that kind that Simplehuman makes. All others, unfortunately, became examples of how, because our innate insatiable desire for "better," we screw up and forget what's really good and end up with. . . well, trash. Well, at least this iconic design is still available, albeit in only one less-than-practical size. The only actual problem with this can is that it sacrifices a very significant portion of its volume to the plastic bag dispenser. In addition to taking up valuable space, the dispenser itself only makes sense if you use the proprietary Simplehuman bag (not my personal choice) and is only accessible with the inner can removed. So if you need a bag for other miscellaneous needs, like your cat litter of what have you, you'll have to work for it. Otherwise, it is a lovely trash can! Just wish they came in other sizes too. But I already said that.
