Knife cuts as expected. Japanese characters in the logo rusted within about 4 uses despite wash and dry after every use. Interstinly the word "shun" next to it is unafected. I suspect the factory electrochem etch for the japanese characters was faulty (to much current, not passivated adequatley afterward). Picture is 5 months later after baking soda toothbrush treatment.
