What have I been using all of these years? I’ve been cooking for over 50 years. When I tried my new Shun classic utility knife on a grilled steak, I felt like all previous knives had been kindergarten scissors. I’m not really exaggerating. The control and ease of slicing through ingredients is s revelation. I always thought I had a decent knife with my Wusthofs. I’ll still use them for some tasks, but I now have dome amazing new tools in my kitchen

I like the contour of the handle. Kind of unique, I think. I did break the tip off of the same knife a few years ago. Probably my fault, but not that much. So I'll take a star away. Also, beautiful. I assume the folding marks are just chemically inscribed, but that's okay. I can't afford the real ones.

Sturdy, comfortable, easy to use, razor sharp. Easily my favorite knife in the kitchen.

I gave this as a Christmas gift to my son-in-law, granddaughter, and son. It's beautiful and very sharp. The handle is lovely, too.

I enjoy cutting with my Shun knives. They are very well made and with proper maintenance can last for years.
