Shun Knives are simply Amazing. These are the Alton Brown Approved knives. I am very happy with them, cut like a sword, balanced well in the hand. Good Alton Brown Shun Knives for a great view on the items.

Longtime Wusthof chef's knife user, and this one really is a step up in terms of how easy it is to chop things. Really like the hollows. And it's pretty. But I do prefer the way the wusthof feels in my hand, but maybe it's just that I've been using it the past 15 years....
