great knife . my 4th shun. love them all when we went out of town our house sitter must have used the point of the birdsbeak as a prybar and bent it. I straightend most of it. it still works well I see the damage every time I use it, makes me sad

If fruit is a regular component in your life then this knife should be a regular tool in your life. This and a nakiri do the vast majority of cutting chores on a soft rubber cutting board in my kitchen.
