PROPRIETARY TREATMENT: The remaining 20% is a proprietary resin that makes the sink completely non-porous, anti-bacterial, and resistant to stains and most household chemicals.

This sink is VERY deep , its a lo larger than Im used to so I'm adjusting to it. The "granite" has a little roughness to it but that does not bother me. I feel it may stain a lot easier than a "smooth finish" sink but we will see. It does comes with lifetime warranty from the company so I'm do keep it. It does say do not use any chemicals to clean it with, I did not realize that when I purchased it.
