I am remodeling my kitchen and was looking for handles (a total of 42 handles). Of course I need to see each handle in-person to really know if it would be the right handle. So I ordered samples after discussing the process and potential cost to return with the Customer Service AND Returns depts (if I did not select any of the Wayfair handles). I ordered 7 different handles. Unfortunately, none were going to work. This handle cost $17.70 and Wayfair wants to charge me $16.50 to ship it back. The order total for 7 handles cost me $117.42 and Wayfair wants to charge me a total of $60.50 to return all the handles. If this isn't a scam, I don't know what is. And quite honestly, I don't think Wayfair prices are low, even with a 10% discount. We will never know, but I am very curious how much of their revenue is generated from return shipping fees. If I try to ship this handle back myself, I think I will have a difficult time finding a vendor that will charge me that much.
