Does not fit silverware for 60!! We have 60 pieces (12 sets of 5), and the box does not close. Even with the knives out! The silverware may be a bit larger than standard but they all fit in the slots in the box. The lid is clearly fixed too low and needs to be an inch deeper. Will be returning.

I have a formal set of cutlery. I bought this chest not expecting anything but nice protection and organization, because I know it's not a high end box. I was disappointed and shocked that the knives don't fit! I can't close the lid! It's useless for me, so I have to send it back. I am upset, because I feel it is a design fault and I shouldn't have to pay for shipping back. I am disappointed with Perigold that has always been so great.

I purchased three of these chests because of the particular measurement. A single layer is helpful regarding the weight on the contents. I am not certain that the felt lining is tarnish-proof: this feature was not stated in any description, but I would still like to know how to anticipate storage. Otherwise, the chests themselves are really pretty, sturdy and practical.
