This came packaged in a beautiful velvet box and the knives themselves are quite sharp and cut very well. The block has magnets within it so you don't have to worry about the knives falling out. Zero assembly required, so asthetic on your countertop. All around a great luxury product!

The knives have a premium look with their walnut handles and unique sisal wrapping, giving the set a distinctive, high-end appearance. Out of the box, every knife was impressively sharp. The full-tang construction gives them a balanced, sturdy feel in the hand, and the included wood block looks great on the countertop without taking up too much space. I also appreciate that the set includes the essential knives most home cooks actually use instead of filling the block with unnecessary extras. While hand washing is recommended to keep the handles looking their best, the overall craftsmanship feels solid and well made.

The wooden block has a nice finish and feels expensive. The knives themselves feel solid in hand with a good weight and a comfortable grip. I finally found my kitchen gem! I was looking for a knife set that was beautiful enough to leave out on on my clean counter tops, and this slotted open style immediately caught my eye. The knives feel so good, too. They are balanced and comfortable even for my smaller hands. The whole thing just feels modern and warm at the same time. ALSO, bonus brownie points awarded because several friends commented on it the first time they saw it. :))
