I had been using a fork to mash potatoes, so this was a welcome addition to my kitchen. I like that you can balance it on the edge of most bowls, but overall this ricer is somewhat clunky. I probably would've been better off with a L-shaped ricer as it would've been easier to clean.

Works great. Makes the smoothest mashed potatoes.
