The pans are great. The cakes take longer to bake, the end product is delicious. Pans clean up with very little effort.

I was disappointed after using my baking pan for the first time. I was left with stains that don't come off. I baked a cake with apples in it and didn't think that would leave stains.

This pan is perfect for cakes. It is durable. I love all my Nordic ware

Approximately a year and a half ago, I decided it was time to replace a worn out 9 x 13 sheet cake baking pan. After much research, I landed on a Nordic Ware pan with aluminum storage top. Fast forward to a Friendsgiving 2023 gathering. I baked a cake for our son to take to this event. Cake was perfectly bake. No issues there. HOWEVER, when the baking pan and aluminum storage top were returned, the top would not come off. In fact, the host of the event had attempted to remove the top and actually cut her wrist! Thankfully the cut was not deep and did not require stitches, but you get my point. Scary for what could have happened. Back at home, the family “team” attempted to remove the top. We were only successful when my husband and son attacked one edge of the top with needle nose pliers!!! The top was finally removed but destroyed in the process. What in the world???? I see now the same pan comes with a plastic, see-through top. Hopefully the pan/aluminum top combo is off the market. If not, before the company finds itself covering medical bills, I strongly suggest removing it. The edges are way too sharp and obviously there are issues with removing it. I still have the top if Nordic Ware product design folks are interested in seeing it. Love the pan. Lose the aluminum top.
