I am a professional chef and this knife has carried me though many long shifts working carving stations and have not had to stop and resharpen, this has superior edge retention. 10/10 recommend!

We own many Wusthof knives but they do not compare in any way to the quality of this knife. The blade needed only to be touched to a piece of paper to slice of small shreds easily. It is SO razor sharp. And it is beautiful to look at. Amazing knife.

The knife is GORGEOUS, Absolutely stunning!!!! After much research, I decided to invest in the Miyabi Black series knife. This 9.5' Slicing knife is well made. My hand feels very stable using this knife. Tested it on slicing a very thin slice of prime rib and it's absolutely gorgeous. I personally also owned the Shun Premier knives set and this miyabi black slicing knife top all my Shun Premier knife. Worth the investment !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Miyabi Black 9.5" slicer is my first sushi knife I’m so excited to learn more about this knife.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knife is beautiful and amazing! We used it to make sushi On New Year’s Eve and it cut the fish like a hot knife through butter. Extremely sharp and cuts with ease.
