This item is much smaller than I thought it would be. It is too small to brace on any of my large pots. I’m not sure how we’ll be able to use it. It is nice and heavy. It seems like it would hold up well in the dishwasher.

The description for this “Colander Stone Stock Pot” is abysmal. I was under the impressions I would be getting a set (even the single pic makes it looked ridged so there might be a bottom and a top piece). Unfortunately, it is just the colander piece. I’ve included pics of the single item and then also the only way I’ll be able to use it. Which, will probably not be used much at all. I think it will lead to wastingusing more water than I’ll ever need. Maybe I could use to boil potatoes It is a lovely piece of cookware and very light weight (which i love) but I don’t know how much use I’ll have for it. And given the price point, I’d advise to keep looking.

Well, it was bound to happen at some point. I’m finally way less than thrilled about a Wayfair product. The title says “colander stock pot,” so a reasonable person would assume it is a stock pot with a colander insert or some such. Nope, it’s just a 100 colander. There’s no bottom. Take a look at the photos and explain to me how this is a stock pot in any stretch of the imagination There was NOTHING in the description to indicate that, and there’s no photo to show the bottomless bottom. Not. Happy. At. Al.

The description & photos on Wayfair site are not good. They don't make it clear that there are wholes in bottom. They should have mentioned that it's part of a 2 piece set ( in which you can order the pieces seperately). For what they charge-thought it would be heavier metal than it is. Don't think I will get much use out of it because I already have a 2 piece Pasta pot.

Durable, attractive for hanging when not in use, and fits nicely into a large stock pot. Can be lifted by its handles for draining. I had admired this high quality piece for some time and was glad to be able to add it to my kitchen.
