This was pricey but I could not find a crockpot that had a metal insert which would be safer from chemicals when cooking something for a long time. It also looks great in my kitchen. It's perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! This Lotus Multi-Function Cooker and Dutch oven is a beast of a kitchen tool. It single handily was my sous-chef for prepping and making Thanksgiving dinner, along with many other meals. Its multiple settings include slow cook like a standard crock pot, sauté/sear which I found myself using mostly, rice cooker, sous vide, meal timer/manual function which is also helpful. I’ve made couscous, rice and multiple chicken dinners, seared veggies, made stock and kept my mashed potatoes warm while I finished Thanksgiving dinner. This machine has a lot of power and functionality while looking quite professional and high end. My only complaint is the size/weight of it, with all that power and functions come parts to hoist and overall it’s a bit large for simply keeping out on my counter so I keep it tucked away. Without having proper space for this machine I can see it being hard to keep around, luckily I have the room. Overall this new Lotus brand seems to know what they’re doing and I would love to try more of their products in the future.

I love the large control display and multifunction options — it feels like a high-end, versatile kitchen tool. Can’t wait to test it in my cooking routine!

I love that I can also sauté in it or slow cook like I would in a crockpot. This has become our main cooking vessel! So easy to use and clean.
