I just received my cooktop and it was installed yesterday. It is beautiful and works well. I am looking forward to using for the upcoming holidays. Heats up quickly and so far very easy to clean. The company said use baking soda and warm water. I hope this helps. I did a lot of research before buying this one. I am glad I did.

It has an issue where the touch will not turn the lock off. easy to turn the lock on when you don’t mean to turn it on. the stove at first heat up very slow and then it heats up very fast

Our previous cooktop was 28 years old and still looked relatively decent. We re-did the countertops and decided upon this 30" LG cooktop to replace the old unit. We have had the cooktop in place and using it now for 3 months and are very dissatisfied. We did have one small chip/crack caused by a dropped pan, but the damage was far greater than expected. A second chip also happened that was "not" caused by a dropped pot or pan. A crack then spread across the entire cooking surface rendering the entire cooktop un-usable. We also have not overcooked/overflowed anything, and there are burned marks where the pots/pans sit on the burners. I will absolutely not by another LG product.

I bought this cooktop to replace my fridgidaire cooktop and wanted something without knobs as I have 4 small children. This lg cooktop has been a breeze to operate and heats up 10x faster than my old one! I haven’t had a single issue yet while owning it and if you want a sleek looking cooktop that also has a child lock setting then I recommend this one.

We bought the 30 inch electric cooktop without seeing the unit in person, My wife who is legally blind had her apprehensions but she learn how to use in a short time. The stove works as advertised if not better. Controls are laid out nicely and easy to understand.
