I had one of these from another box store, and the holes were larger, so grease got through. I love this brand, so had to get it when I saw it was on sale. I fried some chicken and put it to use, and have to say the only time any grease wound up on my stovetop was because I removed the splatter guard to take these photos. It is truly a Godsend, and I will be using this consistently!

As expected

The splatter guard is quite sturdy. The folding handle locks in place securely when extended and saves space when folded. The guard fits in my dishwasher and cleans easily. There are cheaper, flimsier guards, but I expect to get a lifetime's use from this.

This splatter screen is perfect for frying any food. It's easy to use and prevents hot oil from splattering all over the cook top and me! It's easy to clean, I just put it in the dishwasher.
