The oven itswlf is gorgeous but I had to do a replacement based on an interior pinhole. I am awaiting replacement but Wayfair and Le Creuset have been excellent to work with!

A gorgeous piece to be added to your collection. The depth is amazing for all types of cooking. The compact design means it won't take up too much room on the stove top. It's the same width as the 5.5qt just taller. Wayfair has the best price on these!

Very nice Le Creuset dutch oven in perfect size - 6.5 qt. It's not too big and not too small, just perfect for family cooking. The footprint and lid size is exactly the same as regular round 5.5 qt Le Creuset dutch oven, but this one is just 1 inch taller. Being a taller version of 5.5 qt actually helps a lot. You don't have to worry about getting too close to the top while cooking and mixing food inside, you still have room left. I am very excited and cannot wait to use it more. For this great sale price if you were waiting on 5.5 qt which is considered to be a golden standard size of dutch ovens, think no more and get this 6.5 qt version instead, it will last you forever and you don't actually need 5.5 qt one if you have this one! This Le Creuset dutch oven is from their Signature collection which means it has larger handles - very very handy when it's full and heavy. I LOVE matte black. This is my second piece of Le Creuset in this color. Easy to maintain clean. It doesn't show fingerprints like my Onyx Black/Shiny Black does. And color is very neutral and easy to complement with pop up colors later on. Regarding shipping, it came fast via FedEx directly from Le Creuset, well packaged with some protection inside the bigger box. I was very impressed with the package!

I love the size of this dutch oven. The depth is perfect for cooking soup and boiling pasta and deep frying too!
