I had been looking for the pate terrine forever and was so excited to see it at Wayfair. I’m not much of a cerise girl, but this is the most beautiful piece of Le Creuset I’ve ever seen!

I have been wanting a terrine for years--not to make pate but rather to bake fish. I haven't used it yet, but I expect the enameled cast iron will maintain a nice sear and there is a small hole in the top of the terrine to allow steam to escape; just enough so as to not create condensation inside. Also the sides are deeper than I thought which is a plus.

The Terrine arrived packaged very securely as it is delicate.......even came a day early. Will be trying Cinderella Meat Loaf this weekend per Michael Ruhlman's recipe. Very excited.
