Love love this!! Made a meatloaf in it today. Really good, keeps warm for awhile. hope to use this for bread and lasagna many more things.

I have been wanting a terrine for years--not to make pate but rather to bake fish. I haven't used it yet, but I expect the enameled cast iron will maintain a nice sear and there is a small hole in the top of the terrine to allow steam to escape; just enough so as to not create condensation inside. Also the sides are deeper than I thought which is a plus.

The Terrine arrived packaged very securely as it is delicate.......even came a day early. Will be trying Cinderella Meat Loaf this weekend per Michael Ruhlman's recipe. Very excited.
