The photo is darker than the actual spoon. The wood is much lighter. Perigold should do a better job ensuring their product listings match the product shipped.

Solid, well made and with nice feel to the hand. I bought the set and couldn’t be happier. Once it gets a bit more weathered (have been hydrating as well with mineral oil) it will be just perfect.

Gorgeous and functional matching spoon to my Le Creuset stocked kitchen. I don’t mind it displayed on my counter in the matching Le Creuset utensil holder.
