I would buy it, but I can't use it on my induction stovetop. It will be good for oven and, of coarse the grill, but I want the option of using it on my stovetop. Why can't it be made with a compatible bottom? I use my other Le Creuset pieces on my induction burners.

We are in Florida so grilling is a year-round several times per week experience for us. I received the grill pan for fathers;'s day and have grilled 100% of our grill meals on it ever since. Have to cook at a little lower heat (400-450) but withe cast iron it only adds a minute or two. The good stuff: NO FLAREUPS!, no over charred meat ends, no messy grill clean up, kitchen sink cleanup is a snap. Highly recommend or grillers.
