We actually bought this to use as a stand for a large geode that we didn't want to have sitting flat on our new luxury-vinyl floors and risk it scratching/tearing them up, but we didn't want the board to stand out from the flooring. This one matches our floors almost perfectly, and it's heavy and stable enough to fully support the geode without worrying about it cracking under the weight (it's quite heavy) or shifting. It worked out perfectly!
